The start of something new: Q’s first Manchester event

Manchester – our newest stomping ground and home to our first event in the north. And what an event it was.

Titled ‘Approaching IT differently’, our aim was to introduce prospective customers to newer, more efficient cloud technologies and to cement ourselves as business contenders in the north. To do this, we got together with our partner, NetApp, who we’ve shared many successful events with in the past.

To discuss all things cloud, we set up at our brand-new WeWork office in (you guessed it) Manchester, ready for a morning packed full of insightful, presentations and thought-provoking demos. Our key speakers, Grant Caley and Mike Andrews, both from NetApp, spoke confidently about the next generation data centre and how it encompasses the NetApp Data Fabric. The session culminated in a demo from Mike on Cloud Volumes, NetApp’s powerful, cost-effective hybrid cloud solution.

Afterthought

These events wouldn’t be anything without the customers who attend them. And even though it was our first in Manchester, we believe this one was a real success. Every customer involved was truly engaged and showed a hunger for new knowledge – we’re looking forward to continuing our relationships with them.
