NetApp’s Newest Hyper Converged Infrastructure

Launched at the end of June, and with first shipments due in October, NetApp’s second Generation Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) product partners with Cisco to deliver the latest advancement in Hyper Converged Systems. The two companies first worked together on the FlexPod portfolio, the Number One selling converged Infrastructure in the world today, combining Cisco Compute, Networking and System Management with NetApp storage systems and software.

The new systems are designed to integrate with the NetApp Data Fabric, enabling companies to build next-generation data centres using a hybrid cloud model. This enables applications to be kept on-premise or on any cloud, public or private, with data remaining completely accessible, irrelevant of location or platform.
