IBM Tape Storage TS1120

The IBM System Storage TS1120 Tape Drive offers a tape solution with high capacity, fast access to data and long-term data retention. It is supported in IBM tape libraries, or frames that support stand-alone installations.

Cartridge capacity:	Up to 2.1 TB at 3:1 compression
Max. drive data rate:	104 MBps native data rate
Interface:	Supports both IBM ESCON® and FICON® attachment. Sharing drives optimises drive utilisation and helps to reduce infrastructure requirements.

IBM Tape Storage TS1130 Tape Drive

IBM Tape Storage TS1130

The IBM System Storage TS1130 Tape Drive offers a tape solution with high capacity, fast access to data and long-term data retention. It is supported in IBM tape libraries, or frames that support stand-alone installations.

Max. drive data rate:	160 MBps native data rate

The IBM System Storage TS7650G ProtecTIER De-duplication Gateway solution meets the disk-based data protection needs of the enterprise data centre while enabling significant infrastructure cost reductions.

IBM System Storage TS3400 Tape Library

The IBM System Storage™ TS3400 Tape Library is designed to offer the high capacity and performance advantage of the IBM System Storage TS1130 or TS1120 Tape Drives in a small automation footprint for IBM System i™, System p™, System x™, System z™1, IBM Power™ Systems and other open systems environments. The TS3400 tape library is an external 5U standalone or rack–mountable unit that can incorporate up to two tape drives. The library supports a data rate transfer of up to 160 MBps per drive.

The IBM Virtualisation Engine™ TS7520 (TS7520 Virtualisation Engine) combines hardware and software into an integrated solution designed to provide tape virtualisation for open systems servers connecting over Fibre Channel physical connections. When combined with physical tape resources for longer term data storage, the TS7520 Virtualisation Engine is designed to provide an increased level of operational simplicity and a low cost of ownership and increase reliability to provide significant operational efficiencies.
